Hey guys!
You must be so shocked to be getting a JOURNAL message from the group now. I know. It's been pretty much a year now and only one blog entry has ever found it's way out of the group.

But lets make this a lovely second occasion by addressing some awesome and important stuff.



Over the year, we've grown by over 500 and we have as of now 600 watchers.
We've turned into a pretty cool reference resource for artists... even outside of the social network we have here because I personally know a few people who aren't even active within the d.a. community but who still stalk our group page and make artwork off of that



Now it's time to spread out the administration a bit in this group. Because I am finding it a little hard to manage on my own with all of you guys being all bubbly here and my full schedule out in the real world.
I hope that with the help of more people keeping track of things, we can help the group grow even and reach even grander levels of awesomeness.

Contributors Now Welcome

You'll get to write journal/blog entries on world-cultural topics and anything else you find interesting about the fashions of various regions of the world, old or new (as long as it has some elements of antiquity).
You'll get to greet new members and get a first hand account of what's going on amongst them.
Also you'd be able to fave an unlimited about of times for the group without approval from me or anybody else. (It's a win-win for everybody the group gets more activity, and you can get your whole entire art gallery faved up ;D )
You'll research regions periodically and update different folders
You'll look through various folders once in a while and choosing the most well executed images, you will copy them into the "featured" folder.
You'll get a pretty badge on your user page that will say you're a club contributor and there will be a lot of sunshine and happiness coming your way if that's the kind of thing you look forward to more than anything else.



It's really laid back here and there can be tons of contributors all doing their own thing and shining in their own way, as long as they all keep to the common purpose and goal --which is the theme of cultural recognition-- that is already running here in the group.
I hope we can get a strong bond going between all of the people on the team and end up doing collaborations and artwork together outside of the group, as well as scheming and plotting for things to be done within the group as well.
And we'll all discuss the very first contest together too!

I'll just take a quick glance at your submission history in the group and how active you are within the community. Believe it or not, I can already recognize the better half of you despite there being more of you than would be safe to fit into my apartment.
It'll simply be so that I know that the people coming on board will actually care more than anything else. But let's face it, if you convince me well enough, I'll probably still let you on even if you have barely anything in your gallery and you just want to contribute journals or something.
